| "Waiting" |
After shooting at the abandoned house a lot, I like to picture someone was waiting for their eviction letter or be hoping that the bills will magically disappear in front of their eyes. I was inspired by the emptiness in the room because the house was pretty big and seemed like a family home before it was abandoned. The only thing left was the essentials like furniture. I like to create scenarios in my head about the family that left and wonder if they even have a chair to sit on.
This is amazing. Completely raw, simple, but powerful. The addition of the explanation guides the photo. Truly well done. The best part is that you cannot see what he is looking at, out the window. I feel like if you WERE able to see that, it would take away from the true meaning of the photo.
