It's pretty crazy that on the other side of the planet, humans are able to communicate with a friend living on the other side of the world. It used to take weeks for a message to be sent to another country and now it's only a matter of seconds for us to send and receive a lengthy letter. During this shoot I wanted to tie in the elements of our current generation and how messages are being sent. From this perspective you can see that he's receiving the message and is eagerly waiting for the full message to be sent. It's weird that magic isn't real, but technology has advanced so much and it created it's own kind of magic that people 100 years ago would never have expected to be real.
