Buscando y Caminando en La Calle

Buscando y Caminando en La Calle

As I roam around the streets of San Miguel, I bounce around with my bola. Bola adorned as an ice cream truck parlor umbrella, I couldn't resist bouncing it around en la calle. As I bounce about, I peer on my left and I see a pure tree littered with black and yellow streamers all over the mystical white tree. On my right I glance over and see the tackiest boots however behind the counter, behind her pure white notebook I see a gorgeous and familiar face. Yanela de la Reina, a purely ground gourmet caliente chocolat with amber brown eyes that glowed with a pure white scleroses. She was munching on an almond and chia porridge as she sat behind the counter browsing her life away. I couldn't help but be enchanted by her natural beauty. We sat there and she said she had a huge family, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She spoke with a soft spoken tone that made you want to listen to every gasp and as you watch her flutter around the tienda you can't help but be amazed at how fast time went. It was such a doozy as I had my Minolta out ready to sneek a pic, but from Yanela de la Reina said. "No nada fotas de moi" or something along those lines because I can't but stare at her soul. She asked if I am being serious. I exclaimed "yes". She took me out in the street for the next minute and pointed into the direction that she wanted me to go and visit during my time there. To the left a delicious restaurant called Mama Mia and to my right the jardin with a magnificent pond she spoke about. We went back into the tienda and began again to talk and she mentioned that the store closes at 3 and at that time she could show me around the town. Little did she know that I was not going to make a return. Little did she know I had no sense of direction. I guess you could say I am a lost child, exploring til I find my path to salvation. Mejico I repeated antes de y despues de la hora. "Perro" echoed in the room, over and over and she begins to repeat that I'm loco because Pero is but and Perro is dog but I didn't want to deny it, all I wanted to do is waste the whole day with her Mejicoy momento. As the day went, I couldn't forget her face. I need to remember her face, so I went behind her desk and took out the notepad and pen and began to trace her face. Quedate! I shouted in her direction. She kept wanting to move but I exclaimed NO!, and I made her stay on the countertop. I kept outlining her face but in no way was I going to make her move. Heavy breaths began to exhale out her adorable lips. I signed my name and went on about returning after, I didn't promise because I knew someone like myself wouldn't lie on promises. She went and offered a water and her snack. I sat there enchanted by her eloquent brows as I munch away on her grace.
I loved the way she pronounced my name, I loved the way she complimented my persona, I loved the way she scolded me into trying to change my way I was thinking.
I only wish that she and I could have met again that day, but my idiotic ass couldn't find my way back because I was Buscando y Caminando en la Calle.
